A rail hook is utilized for safely positioning railway vehicle wheels back on tracks. The rail hook can be used for making final adjustments during the rerailing process or when a vehicle is slightly off the tracks but not completely derailed.
It enables lateral movement of the wheels and parallel rotation of the wheel set on the track. In situations with limited clearance, the rail hook can also serve as a rerailing tool to reposition derailed railway vehicles onto the tracks.
This lightweight tool features a Holmatro spring-return multi-purpose cylinder and adjustable hooks, designed for easy carrying, operation, and positioning by a single person.
